
Kiersten Henderson, LMSW
Kiersten completed her undergraduate program in social work, with a minor in psychology, from Florida State University, followed by receiving her master’s in social work from her alma mater. She is a licensed Master of Social Work and currently pursuing her clinical licensure with Nexus-PATH. Kiersten has experience working in outpatient mental health, school-based services, and community outreach. Kiersten is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Kiersten has special interest in grief counseling and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
Kiersten joined Nexus-PATH in 2022 as a school-based targeted case manager, working in partnership with Fargo Public Schools. She started as a Therapist in 2023 to continue fulfilling her passion for helping others. Kiersten enjoys working with families to help strengthen relationships, and supporting her clients reach their personalized goals. Kiersten takes a strengths-based approach to treatment, assisting families and children with building upon the strengths they already possess to ensure the most effective and long-lasting results.
Originally from Florida, moving to the Fargo area in 2022, Kiersten has quickly acclimated to our North Dakota climate and loves the Fargo-Moorhead community. Kiersten enjoys CrossFit, cooking, and spending time with her two golden retrievers.
