"I love the work that I do because it's really impactful to the community. Families are getting the services that they need and youth are staying in the setting that they're in."

Kayla, Nexus Family Healing

We each have our own "why" that led us to Nexus. What will be yours?

Each one of us has our own reason why we came to work at Nexus...and what drives us to keep helping the children and families who so desperately need our help. Listen as some of our employees share their own “whys.”

Helping families face difficult challenges isn’t easy, but for most of us, it’s the most satisfying work we’ve ever done.

Our Workplace Culture

At Nexus, we have an established approach and organized work groups to ensure we have a constructive workplace culture that embraces differences and encourages belonging.  Every year, we identify measurable goals that support a culture of belonging and we track progress against those goals.

In 2025 our constructive workplace culture goals include:

  • Establishing annual funds for workplace culture activities across the organization
  • Supporting supervisor cultural competency through training and assessments.
  • Creating an objective, data-driven process for recruitment and retention of people of different cultures and views.
  • Promoting a culture of belonging

Each focus area has a project team moving that work forward. In addition, the Constructive Workplace Culture (CWC) committee, made up of individuals from across the organization, meets virtually and in person monthly. The role of the CWC is to guide our work, support the project teams, promote culture activities and acts as ambassadors across the organization.

We strive to provide the best quality care for our youth and the best work environment for our employees through an inclusive team culture. Nexus Family Healing is proud to be an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard for race, color, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, familial status, ancestry, national origin, protected veteran, or disability status.
