SafeTALK Suicide Prevention Training

The Southeast Regional Crisis Center is offering a safeTALK Suicide Prevention training, presented by LivingWorks. LivingWorks is an organization with more than twenty years of experience in developing effective suicide prevention programs. 

This free, 4-hour training is for anyone 15 years of age or older. You will learn a 4-step process using the acronym TALK (Tell, Ask, Listen, KeepSafe) to identify and engage individuals talking about suicide and how to connect them to further help and care. It will prepare you to raise and respond to concerns about suicide in relationships with family, friends, and co-workers. Light refreshments will be provided.
