Our Latest News on COVID-19

To our parents, partners, and community members,

Your safety and the safety of our clients and employees are of paramount concern. As such, we want you to know that Nexus Family Healing has been taking the necessary precautionary measures to mitigate the risks associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus).  We are continually monitoring the developments of the coronavirus and have implemented the recommended guidelines from Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC).

Our agencies remain open. However, our procedures are being modified to accommodate the current situation and  continue to help "flatten the curve." The latest infomation from Nexus is listed below.

OUTPATIENT/COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Our outpatient clinics are performing telehealth services, allowing clients the ability to continue to receive care via videoconferencing or over the phone. This service is available for both existing and new clients. If you are a current client and prefer in-person sessions, you will be asked to complete a visitor screening questionaire. if it is determined there is a chance of a health risk to others, the session will be cancelled or moved to telehealth.

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT SERVICES

Nexus is highly committed to family participation. An important element to building and maintaining family relationships is ongoing face-to-face visits. We believe that nothing can replace the power of family contact and care, and we continue to be committed to supporting high levels of family involvement.

With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) being declared a pandemic, the safety of our youth and families is of the utmost importance. As a result, we must balance youth and family face-to-face contact with community safety and change our protocol as it relates to visitation. We do not intend for our new protocol to keep children and family members apart, we are simply creating temporary safety measures to help prevent the spread of illness into our facilities. We ask for your support and participation in successfully implementing these protocols. More Information.
