fbpx How Do I Communicate With a Sensitive Co-Worker?
Authored by Dr. Michelle Murray on March 22, 2022
Dear Dr. Michelle:

I work with someone who is very sensitive and I always feel like I'm walking on eggshells because I don't know what will set her off. When I ask questions or suggest doing things in a different way, she gets very defensive. It makes working on projects together difficult. How do I navigate this?

Dear Luis:

This week, Tera Girardin sits down with Dr. Michelle K. Murray to answer your question via video!

Dr. Michelle K. Murray shares that Luis may need to reflect on his approach when communicating with his co-worker, and it may be trial and error to see what is the best way to talk with her. She also suggests approaching the co-worker directly if he is still having issues.
