Dr. Michelle K. Murray

Dr. Murray joined Nexus Family Healing in 2010, serving first as Clinical Director, then Vice President of Clinical Services, and subsequently Chief Clinical Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer. In 2018, she was named Chief Executive Officer and President by the Nexus Board of Directors.

Jennifer McIntosh

Jennifer joined Nexus Family Healing in 2012 as the Director of Human Resources. She was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in 2015 and now serves as our Chief Human Resources Officer.

Paula came to Nexus Family Healing in 2014, as the Clinical Director of Mille Lacs Academy in Onamia, MN, and was promoted to Associate Director at Mille Lacs before moving to our corporate office in 2016 as Director of Clinical Services. In 2018, she was named Vice President of Clinical Services.

Margaret joined Nexus Family Healing in 2019 with over 30 years’ experience in youth and family services. She leads the development and implementation of innovative treatment options that complement our existing treatment programs and build our community mental health services.

Shannon Amundson joined Nexus Family Healing in January 2020, with over 25 years of residential treatment experience. She oversees all programs and services in Onamia, MN.

Kate Coughlin joined Nexus Family Healing in 2023. Kate provides leadership and oversee operations of North Dakota’s treatment foster care services, community mental health services, and youth residential programs. Most recently, Kate was at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, where she had regional oversight of a wide array of services to children and families including treatment foster care, outpatient therapy services, community-based treatment services.

Bryon Fracchia became Executive Director of Nexus-Woodbourne Family Healing in 2022. In this role, Bryon provides leadership and oversee operations of Nexus-Woodbourne’s residential treatment, education, and treatment foster care programs. Most recently, Fracchia has been serving as interim Executive Director at Nexus-Woodbourne, and prior was the Education Director at the Woodbourne School, the agency’s non-public middle and high school.

Jamie Kozma joined Nexus Family Healing in 1999. She holds a Master of Counseling degree from Eastern Illinois University, and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider, and a Licensed Sex Offender Evaluator. Jamie served in various leadership positions at Nexus-Onarga—including Family Therapist, Sexuality Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, and Clinical Director —before being named Executive Director in 2020.

Toni Miller joined Nexus Family Healing in 2025. Toni provides leadership and oversee operations of Nexus Family Healing’s Walden Crossing Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. Toni has served as a leader and innovator in behavioral healthcare for more than 15 years, delivering and overseeing services in community-based, residential, outpatient, correctional, and inpatient environments.

Nicole Mosloff is the Executive Director of East Bethel campus, where she oversees all operations of the Facility serving youth. Nicole joined Nexus Family Healing in 2023 specifically to help launch East Bethel and was promoted to Executive Director in January 2025. Her leadership is dedicated to ensuring a comprehensive, trauma-informed approach that focuses on building essential skills and stability for young people. She emphasizes keeping families engaged throughout the treatment process and supporting them with the impact of trauma and mental health issues.

Nicole Mucheck

My Why:
“To work toward ending the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness in my community by offering children and their families a supportive environment to connect, heal, and grow.”
Nicole Mucheck joined Nexus Family Healing in 2021 and led the opening of the Southeast Regional Crisis Center (SERCC), a first-of-its kind facility offering 24/7 support for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Currently Nicole is the Executive Director overseeing these Nexus Family Healing agencies: SERCC, Aspen House, Nexus-FACTS, and Nexus-Kindred. Nicole’s career has been spent working directly with clients in need of support and ensuring optimal care at all levels of service. She holds a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University, has experience as a Licensed Behavior Specialist Consultant, and is trained in trauma-focused therapy methods, family therapy, and other emotional and behavioral therapeutic interventions.

Melissa Webster, LCPC

Melissa Webster, LCPC joined Nexus Family Healing in 2024. Melissa provides leadership and oversee operations of Nexus’ residential treatment programs in Manteno, IL. Most recently, Melissa served as Executive Director of Residential and Day School Programs for One Hope United. She has been a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor for almost 30 years.

As Executive Director of Education, Ra Shone is responsible for providing the operational, educational, and financial direction and oversight for agency schools across MD, MN and IL, while serving as an educational change agent and advocate at the district and state levels.

Rebecca joined Nexus in 2021 as Talent Acquisition Manager and was promoted to Director of Talent Acquisition in 2022. In 2025, Rebecca was promoted to Vice President of Talent Strategy where she oversees talent acquisition and compensation and drives strategic initiatives across job architecture, organizational design, and employment branding, while advancing our use of talent data and analytics to support workforce planning and decision-making.

Dale joined Nexus Family Healing in 2023. He leads the Information Technology of our organization in collaboration with all our agencies. He oversees the Information Technology designs and executes Nexus Family Healing’s technology roadmap, technology strategy, infrastructure, information security and risk management programs across the home office and multiple agencies.
